Pediatricians at UC Davis Children’s Hospital use telemedicine to provide assistance and share their expertise with health care providers working in rural, remote and tribal communities.

The tele-mentoring program offers remote case consultations to health care providers caring for children with complex medical problems in their local clinic or hospital. The ongoing mentoring of local health care providers results in better care for children living in communities where pediatricians and specialists are not readily available.
