Julia Fleuret is a Clinical Epidemiologist/Research Analyst IV with the Prevention Policy & Practice Group at the Center for Healthcare Policy and Research. Beginning in 2021, Julia works primarily on the Healthy Living Clinic initiative (HLCI). HLCI aims to promote effectiveness of tobacco cessation efforts at clinics by providing training and technical assistance for quality improvement. Julia previously worked as a Survey Manager at the Demographic and Health Surveys Program, providing technical assistance to countries implementing household-based nationally representative surveys on health topics in Uganda, Ghana, Mauritania, and Kenya. In addition, she has experience providing M&E capacity building to HIV care and treatment providers at UCSF and coordinating community-based research in New Orleans. Julia received her B.A. from the University of Virginia, and her M.P.H. from the Tulane School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine.
