The Center for Healthcare Policy and Research (CHPR) offers a weekly Health Services Research seminar series. This series features speakers from UC Davis and other institutions whose research and policy presentations relate to health services research. This seminar series focuses on:

  • research in progress
  • recently completed research
  • innovative research methods
  • discussions of grant proposal ideas
  • practice presentations

The Seminars occur every Wednesday from 12:00pm - 1:00pm online via Zoom.

  • Seminars are held during the Fall, Winter and Spring academic quarters at UC Davis (but not on University holidays). There are no regularly scheduled seminars over the summer.

The CHPR Seminar Series welcomed Dr. Paul Brown, from UC Merced, for his presentation on "Return on Investment for a Diabetes Prevention Program: The Merced California Accountable Communities for Health Initiative" on January 12, 2022.


The CHPR Seminar Series welcomed Michael Valle from Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development (OSHPD) and Jill Yegian, Ph.D. from Yegian Health Insight, for their presentation on "Launching the Nation's Largest All-Payer Claims Database" on December 8, 2021.
