UC Davis ER doctors share experiences on COVID-19 front lines in New York hospital (FB Live)

During a Facebook Live conversation on May 22, Department of Emergency Medicine physicians Alex Schmalz and Nick Sawyer talked about why they went to one of the epicenters of the COVID-19 pandemic in the U.S. – Elmhurst Hospital in New York – and shared what they saw and experienced treating patients on the front lines.

When to contact your provider

If you test positive for COVID-19 at home, you can contact your primary care provider about a prescription for Paxlovid.

Patients who receive primary care or specialty care from UC Davis Health can schedule a telehealth video visit with Express Care.
