Heart and Vascular Center hosts inaugural Northern California Structural Heart Summit

Program features lectures by UC Davis Health cardiovascular experts, live case broadcasts and patient interviews

The Heart and Vascular Center at UC Davis Health is hosting the 2024 Northern California Structural Heart Summit in Sacramento. This regional event will feature practical and high yield lectures from cardiovascular faculty, live case broadcasts and patient interviews.

The Nov. 8 conference will focus on case-based and patient centric approaches to contemporary structural heart interventions, imaging and heart failure management.

The preliminary agenda includes clinical presentations on:

  • Updates around transcatheter aortic valve replacement procedures
  • Niche to mainstream left atrial appendage occlusion procedures
  • Interatrial septal defects and percutaneous closure
  • The rapidly evolving field of mitral and tricuspid interventions
