March with UC Davis Health to show your PRIDE

(SACRAMENTO)

UC Davis Health and university employees, their families, friends and allies are invited to attend the annual Sacramento Pride parade sponsored by UC Davis Health and the Office of Health Equity, Diversity and Inclusion.

The parade will begin at 11 a.m. on Sunday, June 12. UC Davis Health participants—organized and hosted by the UC Davis Health PRIDE Employee Resource Group (ERG)—will meet in advance at Southside Park at 2115 6th Street on the corner of T Street.

This will mark the first in-person presence at Sacramento Pride since 2019. UC Davis Health and the Davis Campus previously brought over 250 participants to the celebration.

“We’re excited to bring back this in-person event and to march for equity, diversity and inclusion along with our patients, students, families, staff, faculty and executive leadership,” said Matthew St. Amant, UC Davis Health PRIDE ERG Chair. “We are also excited to launch our new PRIDE branding that better reflects our commitment to diversity and inclusion by incorporating additional color representations.”

Those who RSVP to join the UC Davis Health group by May 13 will receive a free t-shirt.
