UCOP requires COVID-19 booster for UC health care workers

Employees must be compliant no later than Jan. 31, 2022

The Office of the President released a statement that, under the University of California’s existing COVID-19 vaccination policy, UC health care workers are to receive a booster dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.

Employees must be compliant no later than Jan. 31, 2022. The policy is subject to the same exemptions and deferrals.

Employee Health will be available to provide boosters to employees who have not yet received their boosters to meet the January 31st mandate. Below is a list of clinic times/locations:

  • Monday, Dec. 20 – Wednesday, Dec. 22 (Closed Dec. 23-26), boosters are available in the EHS clinic located in the Cypress Bldg. Please call for an appointment at 916-734-3572
  • Monday, Dec. 27 – Wednesday, Dec. 29 (Closed Dec. 30-Jan. 2), boosters are available in the EHS clinic located in the Cypress Bldg. Please call for an appointment at 916-734-3572
  • Monday, Jan. 3 – Jan. 31 (Closed Jan. 17), 2022, EHS will open a vaccine clinic in the North Addition Room 1115 (please note the room change). Hours of operation will be from 7am-4pm, Monday-Friday.

For employees that have received their booster in the community, please send those records to EHS hs-employee.health@ucdavis.edu several weeks prior to the Jan. 31 deadline to ensure vaccine records are up to date for vaccine policy compliance.
