Course description
In this course, participants will learn how to care for the ENT patient including free flap assessment, wound care, patient monitoring, drain care, tracheostomy, laryngectomy, nutrition, and post-surgical complication prophylaxis.
C.E. contact hours
Provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, provider number CEP 26, for 5.25 contact hours.
The UC Davis Health Center for Professional Practice of Nursing is accredited as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
Attendees will not receive C.E. credit if they are more than 20 minutes late; no partial credit can be awarded.

UC Davis employees
$25 registration deposit. Registration deposit is returned upon completion of class. Cancellation must be requested five days prior to class date to receive deposit refund.
Community registrants
$79 registration fee. Cancellation must be requested five days prior to class date to receive a full refund. A $25 service fee will be charged after this date.

Parking
Employee parking is available in parking structure 4, lots 12, 17, 18, 25, Broadway or EDD with either a B permit or daily permit. Employee daily permits are available for purchase with the ParkMobile app using zone number 42201. Visitor daily permits can be purchased from the dispenser in lot 25 for $6 or from the Flowbird App and can be used in lots 22, 25, 30, Broadway and EDD.
