Course description
This course will train nursing staff to provide discharge teaching to new laryngectomy patients and families. RTs can take this class as part of Trach Team training.
C.E. contact hours
Provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, provider number CEP 26, for 3.0 contact hours.
The UC Davis Health Center for Professional Practice of Nursing is accredited as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
Attendees will not receive C.E. credit if they are more than 5 minutes late; no partial credit can be awarded.
Registration
UC Davis Health employees
$25 registration deposit. Registration deposit is returned upon completion of class. Cancellation must be requested five days prior to class date to receive deposit refund. Please register through UC Learning Center and call our office at 916-734-9790 with your deposit by credit card.
Registrations are approved only after your deposit is provided.
Community registrants
$45 registration fee. Cancellation must be requested five days prior to class date to receive a full refund. A $25 service fee will be charged after this date.

Parking
Parking is available in parking structure 4, lots 12, 17, 18, 25, Broadway or EDD with either a B permit or daily permit. Daily permits are available for purchase with the ParkMobile app using zone number 42201. Please visit Parking and Transportation Services for more information.
