Course description
This course is designed to provide an overview of pediatric hematology and oncology nursing issues when caring for the pediatric patient. Leukemias, lymphomas and oncologic emergencies will be addressed. Research and treatment protocols, principles of chemotherapy and biotherapy as well as management and treatment side effects will be covered.
C.E. contact hours
Provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, provider number CEP 26, for 7.5 contact hours.
Attendees will not receive C.E. credit if they are more than 20 minutes late; no partial credit can be awarded.

Community registrants
$75 registration fee. Cancellation must be requested five days prior to class date to receive a full refund. A $25 service fee will be charged after this date.

Parking
Employee parking is available in parking structure 4, lots 12, 17 and 18 with either a B permit or daily permit.
