Course description
The purpose of this foundational course is to enhance the UC Davis Health employee’s knowledge of psychological first aid and caring strategies, which can help support colleagues that care for chronically, critically patients or second victims. This course will also cover strategies and structure for creating volunteer peer responder teams and provide an overview of the UC Davis Health Support U Peer Responder Program.
C.E. contact hours
Provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, provider number CEP 26, for 4.67 contact hours.
Attendees will not receive C.E. credit if they are more than 20 minutes late; no partial credit can be awarded.

Registration will close 2 days prior to the course date and all pending registrations requests will be canceled.
UC Davis employees
$25 registration deposit. Registration deposit is returned upon completion of class. Cancellation must be requested five days prior to class date to receive deposit refund.
