UC Davis Health team earns Guardian of Excellence Award for Patient Experience

UC Davis Health has earned the 2022 Guardian of Excellence Award for Patient Experience in Home Health.

The prestigious award – given by Press Ganey – honors organizations that sustain a top 5% standing in the country for patient experience. Awardees are chosen based on patients’ reporting of “likelihood to recommend, overall rating, or teamwork.”

“Despite the many adversities we’ve faced in the last couple of years, our dedicated team never wavered in providing the best and most compassionate care to our patients and their families,” said Vanessa Mcelroy, UC Davis Health Home Health Director. “This award is the reflection of that, and we are proud to represent the UC Davis Health values of kindness, trust and inclusion.”

Members of the Patient Experience and Home Health teams will travel to Orlando in February to receive the award live at the Press Ganey Human Experience Conference (HX23).
