Leadership development iconEach year, we accept applications from faculty for a number of unique and innovative leadership development opportunities beyond those available at UC Davis Health. Applicants go through an internal pre-selection process with us. We select one or more participants to sponsor per opportunity. Each selected applicant is then guided through the application process with the external organizations offering these opportunities. The School of Medicine then provides support for successful applicants for registration, lodging and travel to the meetings.

We also have identified a select number of other external innovative leadership development opportunities for faculty. Although we don’t offer financial support for these opportunities, we help interested faculty members navigate the best leadership options suited to their career paths and support them in the application process and CV refinement. Faculty may also be able to use departmental development funds or other sources to support their attendance.
