Asymptomatic testing updates

Several changes starting September 27

After several weeks of operations and data collection, the asymptomatic testing team will be adjusting its resources based on business needs.

Beginning on Monday, September 27, mobile teams will no longer serve the Davis Ophthalmology clinic, the Med Science (Tupper Hall), and Campus Commons locations. This will impact the time slots for the UC Davis Health Davis Campus Clinic. While it will remain open for asymptomatic testing on Mondays and Thursdays, the time will be moved up from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. to 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

Additionally, to ensure the Highway 80 corridor has the same testing options as the Highway 50 corridor, the mobile team serving the Rocklin clinic will move from Monday/Thursday from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. to a Tuesday/Friday, 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. schedule. This will affect time slots at the following locations:

  • Roseville will remain Monday/Thursday, but the time will be moved up from 12:45 p.m. to 2:15 p.m. to 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.
  • Cadillac Drive Clinic will remain Tuesday/Friday, but will move up its time by 15 minutes to 9:15 a.m. to 10:15 a.m.

The Coronavirus Resource Center includes an updated grid of testing times and locations.

The team hopes to expand the asymptomatic testing hours at the hospital in the next few weeks as it staffs up accordingly. Check the Insider for updates.
