Hospital gift shop celebrates grand reopening with raffle of Sac Republic FC memorabilia

Closed since March 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the UC Davis Medical Center Pavilion gift shop had a grand reopening yesterday (Aug. 4).

The gift store, which had a soft reopening in mid-July, is now open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.

For now, only employees, people visiting a patient in the hospital or patients with appointments will be permitted into the gift shop. Masks and six feet of physical distancing are required to be in the gift shop.

The grand reopening festivities included a raffle of three autographed Sacramento Republic FC soccer balls, which were won by Randy Castro, Guest Relations employee Andrew Jordan, and Todd Rabe (left to right above).

And don’t forget, soccer fans – Sac Republic FC tickets are available at discounted rates for UC Davis Health personnel.
