UC Davis Health has officially achieved Cum Laude in Epic's Honor Roll Grant Program

(SACRAMENTO)

The Honor Roll Good Maintenance Grant Program is a recognition program based on strategies, lessons learned, and best practices distilled from Epic’s experience serving well-respected health care organizations.

The levels of achievement are based on the number of components UC Davis Health is able to complete by the program deadline, in addition to the Eligibility Requirements. The eight program components are:

  • Ease of Use for Physicians
  • Enterprise Data and Analytics
  • Financial
  • Health Information Exchange
  • Infrastructure
  • Patient Experience
  • Population Health
  • Staying Current

By completing the Honor Roll Program, UC Davis Health earned a $325,000 grant toward future Epic services and features. These accomplishments span the length of 16 months (Jan 3, 2020 to May 2, 2021). UC Davis Health is currently meeting 94% of the requirements for the program.

“Congratulations on your spectacular achievement,” said Sarah Wilson, Technical Services Division Lead and Technical Coordinator for Epic. “This accomplishment reflects your devotion to excellence and commitment to distinguishing your organization as a leader in patient care. This is not an easy program to successfully complete, especially on your first attempt, so we applaud your perseverance.”

Innovation Technology leadership thanks the countless staff members involved in contributing to this accomplishment.

“I appreciate everyone’s efforts to make this happen, and to continue to make our Epic implementation at UC Davis Health successful,” said Jennifer Burger, Vice President, IT Applications. “Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.”
