URAC’s LPM awards program highlights accredited organizations that are effectively using performance measurements to improve the health and well-being of the populations they serve. The criteria for a top performer award include:

  • URAC-accreditation in a specialty pharmacy or mail service pharmacy program
  • Possesses “Full Accreditation” status
  • Submits all mandatory measures
  • Validates measurements through a URAC-approved vendor

UC Davis Health’s Specialty Pharmacy program was deemed to be a top 10 overall performer and a top performer for an organization with less than 25,000 scripts or prescriptions. The data submitted in 2020 was collected from Jan. 1 to Dec. 31, 2019. The LPM program goes beyond URAC’s accreditation program and ensures higher quality through performance measurement.

URAC accreditation is given to an organization for a period of up to three years. An organization must undergo a review again after this period expires in order to maintain their accredited status
