U.S. 50 work closures: Sections of T Street (through Friday, during day); part of 39th Street (Wed-Fri)

Traffic to and from UC Davis Medical Center and the Sacramento campus may be affected by work related to Caltrans’ “Fix 50” Highway Enhancement Project on and around U.S. Highway 50. Please plan your routes and commute times accordingly.

To accommodate sound wall construction, westbound T Street will be closed from Monday, Aug. 2 through Friday, Aug. 6 at 55th St. to 59th St., and 59th St. to 62nd St.; closures scheduled from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

In addition, 39th Street is planned to be closed between the light rail tracks by R and S Streets starting Wednesday, Aug. 4 through Friday, Aug. 6, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Also, 26th Street will be closed through Wednesday, Aug. 4 between W and X Streets from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. for bridge demolition and other construction work.

Next week, the 34th Street off-ramp from eastbound U.S. 50 is slated to be closed from Monday, Aug. 9 to Tuesday, Aug. 10 (9 p.m. to 6 a.m.).
