Honoring excellence in mentoring, teamwork and the health system's mission

(SACRAMENTO)

A large crowd gathered recently to celebrate the annual UC Davis Health Recognition Awards and honor stellar service by colleagues in mentoring, mission excellence and teamwork in the community. Vice Chancellor David Lubarsky, along with the interim deans for the School of Nursing and School of Medicine, Deborah Ward and Lars Berglund, were on hand to recognize the inspirational group of awardees.

Vice Chancellor Lubarsky noted in his remarks that the honorees help remind everyone of the exceptional work being done throughout UC Davis Health.

“This reminds all of us of how remarkable the people here truly are,” Lubarsky said, “and how everything we do serves our mission to make the world a healthier, happier place.”

The awardees’ work continues to inspire us, added Lubarsky. “It elevates our reputation nationally and internationally, and most of all, it helps our students and our patients.”
