The Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism at UC Davis Health is hosting its 45th annual Diabetes & Endocrinology Symposium.
This year’s program is focused on how primary care providers can deliver better care to endocrine patients. It will address newer technologies for automatic infusion of insulin and monitoring of glucose to improve health and provide practitioners with state-of-the-art tools to serve patients.
The symposium also includes clinical presentations on:
- Strategies for improving cardiovascular outcomes in diabetes
- Hyperlipidemia management
- Weight management for diabetic patients
- Autoimmune therapies for type 1 diabetes
- Outpatient management of diabetes
- The role of CGM and technology in management of diabetes
- Diagnosis and management of hyperthyroidism and hypothyroidism
- Endocrine hypercalcemia management
- Osteoporosis management
- Endocrine hypertension management
- Diagnosis and management of pituitary tumors
- Diagnosis and management of polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS)
- Management of male hypogonadism
- Approach to transgender medicine
