The UC Davis Department of Internal Medicine, Division of General Internal Medicine, in conjunction with faculty colleagues from the Department of Public Health Sciences, is presenting an introductory course in Clinical Research from Monday, September 14, 2020, through Friday, September 24, 2020 (eight days with no Friday meetings). The principal instructors are Drs. Patrick Romano and Eleanor Bimla Schwarz. The course is designed for new faculty, fellows, nurses, and other persons with health professions training who are interested in launching a career that will involve conducting or interpreting clinical research.

This intensive 34-hour course in clinical research methods will cover issues related to developing a research question, synthesizing the literature, study design, data collection, questionnaire design, data management, sample size planning, data analysis, presentation and publication.  It is designed to meet the requirements for research methods training in most ACGME-accredited fellowship training programs.
