Healing HeARTS: The first employee art exhibit at UC Davis Health (video)
On Tuesday, Nov. 8, UC Davis Health hosted the first ever employee art exhibit from artwork created by staff. The art gallery showcases the unique artistic talents of employees while promoting creativity, collaboration, and inspiration.
Jennifer Baron, chief experience officer, said, “We wanted to bring joy into our environment here.” Jennifer continued, “We’ve been through a lot the last several years and we wanted to recognize that our care team members

are whole people and art is a great expression of who people are.”
The Experience Design and Support team invited faculty and staff to participate in the program by submitting their art for gallery consideration. The gallery displays many employee art submissions. Due to sizing constraints,
the remaining art submissions and staff inspiration bios are available here.
“I've always loved the arts,” said Jenny Goddeau, physician and employee experience program director. “It just hit me over the head - we should have an employee art show. Every single person who works here plays a part in delivering our patient promise and healing our patients, so that's really where the name came from: Healing HeARTS.”
You can view the exhibit in the North Addition Office Building. The first exhibition features a theme of hope and showcases the art of healing and community.
