Pulse survey results available on February 1

We are grateful for all the UC Davis Health employees who took the time to provide feedback through the 2020 engagement pulse survey. Because of your efforts, we nearly reached our goal of 75% participation.

We are proud of the overall health system strengths you identified, which included:

  • Confidence in senior management’s leadership
  • A sense of belonging
  • Our safety culture
  • Resilience activation, which focuses on how we respond and adapt to negative and positive factors that affect our work

While we improved in several categories compared to our 2019 performance, we are committed to meeting national benchmarks for areas that continue to present opportunities including:

  • Resilience decompression, which is the degree to which one can withdraw, recharge and enjoy life outside of work
  • Diversity, equity and inclusion efforts to reduce disparities
  • Transparent crisis communication
  • Key drivers for the likelihood for you to recommend care at UC Davis Health

Beginning today (Feb. 1), all managers and supervisors will have access to their department specific results. They will also have resources available to help them discuss the results and address key learnings with their teams.
