I was born and raised here in beautiful Sacramento alongside my three brothers. After receiving my Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from UC Santa Barbara, I lived in San Francisco where I worked as a surgical coordinator. From there, I ventured down under for my first two years of medical school at the University of Queensland in Brisbane, Australia. While completing my 3rd and 4th year clinical rotations at Ochsner Health in New Orleans, I fell in love with pediatrics. I am passionate about preventative medicine so hope to pursue a career in primary care pediatrics. I am beyond excited to return to my hometown to serve one of the most diverse communities in the nation!

I love that the structure of the residency allows significant elective time early on, a community health/advocacy block in the 1st year, and a lot of resident autonomy with close interactions with mentors. Sacramento is also a dream city – the beautiful Cali weather without insane traffic, an amazingly diverse population, unique opportunities for advocacy and political involvement, incredible food and a “farm-to-fork” food culture, and endless fun things to do outdoors!

It brings me great joy to return home for this next chapter of my life.
