More than 200 UC Davis Health physicians named 'Top Docs'

(SACRAMENTO)

More than 200 UC Davis Health physicians have been included on a list of the region’s best doctors in the 2021 Sacramento Magazine “Top Docs” survey, an annual opportunity for doctors across the region to vote for colleagues who they deem best in their given specialties.

Ranging from emergency medicine, internal medicine, pediatric care and surgery, the 224 selected physicians represent 68 specialties, including 22 pediatric subspecialties.

“We are honored that so many of our physicians are respected by their peers in the Sacramento medical community,” said David A. Lubarsky, CEO of UC Davis Health and vice chancellor for Human Health Sciences. “Our physicians put their patients at the center of everything they do, and they provide the most professional, compassionate, and high-quality care in the region. As Sacramento’s only academic medical center, UC Davis Health is proud to lead the way to better health, partnering with others across Northern California to provide unparalleled care that transforms lives and communities by delivering tomorrow’s health care today.”

Recently, U.S. News & World Report named UC Davis Health the #1 hospital in Sacramento and among the nation’s best in nine specialties in the 2021-2022 survey. UC Davis is the only level I trauma center for both adult and pediatric emergencies in inland Northern California and is also home to a level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (the highest possible rating).
