Dr. Hardin believes in working for the patient. She believes in shared decision-making, respect, and devotion toward meeting the patient's goals of care and improving quality of life. She encourages family participation in all aspects of care and facilitates navigation through a complex medical system.

Clinical Interests

Kimberly A. Hardin is board certified in pulmonary, critical care and sleep medicine. Her outpatient practice focuses on patients with chronic pulmonary disorders, in particular COPD and advanced modes of non-invasive ventilation. She also cares for a broad spectrum of patients with sleep disorders, including those with advanced modes of PAP therapy, hypoglossal nerve stimulator and phrenic nerve devices.

Research/Academic Interests

Dr. Hardin's research, clinical, and educational/teaching interest focuses on sleep in the ICU, COPD, and improvement in monitoring and treatment strategies.
