Children's Miracle Network partners with Entravision for Radiothon Aug. 17-19

Children's Miracle Network at UC Davis will kick off its Radiothon with Entravision Aug. 17-19 to raise funds for UC Davis Children’s Hospital. Stations will broadcast a mix of patient stories, facts and interviews into regular programming to raise awareness of and funds for UC Davis Children’s Hospital.

English radio stations Hot 103.5 KHHM-FM, Wolf 101.9 KNTY-FM will broadcast Aug. 17-18 from the pediatric playroom and teen room on Davis 7 at UC Davis Children's Hospital. Spanish radio stations Jose 104.3 and La Tricolor 99.9 / 100.9 will raise funds from Aug. 17-19.

“The funds raised will help so many children here in the Sacramento region and beyond,” said Michelle Thompson, associate director for Children’s Miracle Network at UC Davis."By making a contribution, anyone can become a miracle maker and positively impact the life of a child."

All funds raised locally stay local, benefiting the sick and injured children who visit UC Davis Children’s Hospital each year. Funds benefit patient care, programs, life-saving equipment and cutting-edge research at UC Davis Children's Hospital.

The Radiothon is a cooperative effort among Children's Miracle Network Hospitals and Entravision radio stations.
