Becker’s Hospital Review has named UC Davis Health System one of 100 in the country with “great oncology programs.”
Hospitals included on the list offer patients comprehensive cancer care involving teams of specialists, participation in clinical trials and personalized treatment programs.

Becker’s Hospital Review selected hospitals for inclusion based on recognitions and accreditations, including U.S. News & World Report rankings, National Cancer Institute (NCI) designation and others.
UC Davis Comprehensive Cancer Center is one of 45 NCI-designated comprehensive cancer centers. Comprehensive cancer centers are funded by the NCI to do cancer research and provide services to cancer patients. They engage in basic laboratory and clinical research and study the patterns, causes and control of cancer in groups of people. Comprehensive centers also take part in multicenter clinical trials and provide cancer information to health care professionals and the public.
UC Davis Medical Center also has consistently ranked among the top 50 in the national by U.S. News & World Report for cancer.
