Reinhart, who placed third in the tenth season of “American Idol,” started the set with “Feeling Good,” a track off of her new album which drops in January. She also sang the Elvis Presley classic “Can’t Help Falling In Love,” while Abrams, who finished in sixth place in the tenth season of “American Idol,” accompanied her on guitar. The pair completed their set with a duet of the Nat King Cole song, “L-O-V-E.”

“It was really pretty,” said Yeraldine Tafolla, a parent who had a “front row seat” sitting next to Reinhart as she performed. “We feel so happy for them to visit us.”

Patient Lauren Douglass smiled and said that the performance was good and that their rendition of “L-O-V-E” was her favorite from the set.

Reinhart and Abrams also drew a picture with crayons for patients and then met and took photos with patients, who requested it.

Reinhart was also interviewed by Kory, the afternoon DJ on Mix 96, in the hospital’s Tower Lobby, as part of Mix Cares 4 Kids, the Children’s Miracle Network radiothon which will be broadcast today and tomorrow to raise money for UC Davis Children’s Hospital.
