Join us for a discussion on unseen disabilities as part of the UC Davis Diversity and Inclusion Dialogue Series held Oct. 18 in the Education Building, Room 2222 from noon to 1 p.m.
Invisible disabilities refer to symptoms such as debilitating pain, fatigue, dizziness, cognitive dysfunctions, brain injuries, learning differences and mental health disorders, as well as hearing and vision impairments.
While not always obvious to the onlooker, invisible disabilities vary from person to person and can result in mild or severe limitations in daily activities.
Listen to speakers who will share their stories of living with invisible disabilities as well as experts who support affected members in the community.
Learn how you can better understand and support these individuals.
