Training and Development is accepting applications from faculty, executive staff and mid-level managers for the UC Davis Health Coro Leadership Academy (CORO), an experiential leadership development program designed by the Coro Center for Civic Leadership.
The Coro Center is a nonprofit organization that trains ethical and diverse leaders nationwide. UC Davis has worked with the center for many years to help meet the health system's leadership training needs.
UC Davis Health's CORO program seeks candidates who have intellectual curiosity, strong personal initiative, supervisory and leadership potential, and the ability to work well within a diverse group.
The academy uses the Coro Center's unique methodology to help participants develop innovative leadership skills. The learning experience is intensive and complex, and requires a significant time commitment as well as support from a participant's supervisor and department.
Training consists of eight mandatory full-day biweekly sessions. Participants must commit to the entire program by attending all sessions, as there are no make-up sessions. Sessions are held from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m., except as noted:
- Session 1: Thursday, March 14 (8 a.m. – 5 p.m.)
