Philosophy of Care

As a perioperative physician specializing in pediatric anesthesia, I am committed to providing outstanding care to my patients. I feel that is important that family members have a thorough understanding of the anesthetic process and work with them in a collaborative basis. My position as the Medical Director of the APC allows me to educate patients and their families, answering questions and easing fears about the anesthetic and surgical process.

Clinical Interests

Dr. Lammers is a fellowship-trained pediatric anesthesiologist, administering anesthesia to pediatric patients scheduled for general surgical cases in the Children's Surgery Center. She is the Medical Director of the Anesthesia Pediatric Clinic, which is responsible for seeing pediatric patients prior to the scheduled procedures. Dr. Lammers is active in the educational programs provided to residents and fellows. She has a special clinical interest in the use of opioids in managing pediatric pain.

Research/Academic Interests

Dr. Lammers is engaged in research pediatric pain management, examining treatment of acute and chronic pain. She is focused on education and investigating the impact of the use of opioids in pediatric patients.
