Dr. Sarkar specializes in treating patients with gastroenterological and liver disorders.
Dr. Sarkar is interested in Hepatitis C public health initiatives, new therapeutics and clinical trials for patients with Hepatitis C (HCV), Fatty liver disease (NAFLD) and Non-Alcoholic Steatohepatitis (NASH). His research/academic interests are understanding and establishing the best methodologies for early screening and linkage to care for patients with HCV and NAFLD/NASH.
