Philosophy of Care
I believe that the best outcomes come from an individualized care approach, customized for each patient and their family. Once we have determined the best course of treatment together, I use my knowledge, experience and technical abilities to best achieve the desired outcome.
I favor an open and collaborative style of communication and strive to provide detailed, informative and compassionate pre- and post-operative care to patients and their families.
I thoroughly appreciate caring for people from all backgrounds and life experiences. After nearly two decades of caring for patients in the neurosciences, it is this variety and sharing in others’ lives that gives me the most joy.
Caring for critically ill patients and their families means not only being a physician but also a friend and advocate, just as I would be for my own family.
