DXA Body Composition body fat

The DXA scan in action.

Body composition measurement using a DXA scan (also called a DEXA scan) is a simple 15 minute test that provides a comprehensive look at your body fat, muscle mass and bone. In addition to scientifically validated accuracy, a DXA scan will provide you with a better understanding of how your fat tissue and muscle are distributed, allowing you to identify health risks and more accurately track changes in body composition.

Skinfold analysis

$25.  Included with Performance or Health and Fitness test.

Skinfold thickness is precisely measured at 7 specific sites on the body. These measurements are converted to a body fat percentage using a well- established equation. While not as accurate as the DXA, skinfold measurements provide a cost effective means of tracking relative changes in body composition.
