Philosophy of Care
All children with known or suspected heart disease, along with their families, should be evaluated and treated with tenacity, ferver, and compassion.
Clinical Interests
Dr. Dayan is a pediatric cardiologist at UC Davis Children's Hospital. His clinical interests include the evaluation and management of all ranges of congenital and acquired heart disease, from the simplest murmur to the most complex anatomic variations. His focuses primarily on fetal diagnosis of congenital heart disease, cardiopulmonary exercise testing (CPET) in the pediatric population as well as pediatric heart failure and cardiomyopathies (heart muscle dysfunction).
Research/Academic Interests
In addition to his clinical interests, Dr. Dayan believes strongly in education on all levels. Career-long learning is a critical component of modern medicine. He also enjoys teaching fellows, residents, medical students, patients and families. Dr. Dayan participates in multi-disciplinary clinics and research, mostly in the field of pediatric heart failure and cardiomyopathies.
