Coinciding with the mission of the Department of Internal Medicine, my goal is to provide excellence in clinical care, research and education, and to deliver high-quality medical care with commitment to cutting-edge research and superior physician training.
My clinical interests focus on kidney and kidney-pancreas transplantation and Nephrology. My research focuses on seeking a better understanding of cardiovascular disease in individuals with chronic kidney disease and approaches to early detection and intervention. I am also interested in renal transplantation access, outcomes research, and recurrence of renal disease after transplantation.
