Research/Academic Interests
Dr. Haczku is a respiratory immunologist with a research focus on the pathogenesis of allergy, asthma, COPD and pulmonary infections. She has developed in vivo (animal) and in vitro models to investigate disease mechanisms.
She is interested in studying the effects of environmental exposures such as air pollution, cigarette smoking and psychosocial stress on airway inflammation.
