Dr. Plante is the Director of the Inpatient Glycemic Team, overseeing system-wide best practices for inpatient diabetes management. She supervises a team including a nurse practitioner and diabetes nurse specialist currently providing active surveillance for hyper and hypoglycemia in the inpatient setting. In addition as Associate Professor of Internal Medicine, she provides education to physicians, residents, nurses and pharmacists regarding inpatient management of diabetes.
