Philosophy of Care
Having gone through the journey of cancer treatment with her father over the past several years, Dr. Hamdan strives to treat every patient, like she wants for her father to be treated.
Dr. Hamdan has two little girls and a wonderful supporting husband. She enjoys reading, hiking, travelling and cooking in her free time.
Dr. Hamdan graduated medical school from the University of Jordan with Honors in 2002. She completed an Internal Medicine residency at the University of Arizona in Tucson and a Nephrology Fellowship from UC Davis in 2011. She has been practicing Nephrology in the Greater Sacramento area since then. She served as the Medical Director of Fresenius Lincoln dialysis unit for a year and a half before joining UC Davis.
Dr. Hamdan is interested in the care of patients with chronic kidney disease, especially patients with advanced kidney disease requiring dialysis and patients with cancer who have kidney problems.
