Transplanted kidneys are functioning, and patients are alive, at one year and three years post-transplant at rates higher than predicted by our risk adjustment, at rates better than the national average, and at rates similar to other Northern California transplant centers. This is thanks to our dedicated team of inpatient and post-transplant surgeons, transplant nephrologists, nurses, infectious disease physicians, advanced practice nurses, and other professionals who closely monitor our patients.

The graphs below show one- and three-year graft and patient survival for UC Davis, other Northern California centers, and the U.S. average.
