Come to our farmers market every Thursday in Sacramento

Weekly market expands access to fresh, locally grown produce

Farmers MarketThe UC Davis Health System Farmers Market is held every Thursday through Nov. 7 —with the exception of July 4 — from 3 to 7:30 p.m. at the intersection of 45th and Y streets in Parking Lot 12 in Sacramento. Free parking is available nearby at Shriners Hospitals for Children – Northern California.

The market offers farm-fresh produce, artisan cheeses, grass-fed beef, eggs, baked goods, an assortment of fresh fruits and vegetables, and many specialty food items. In addition, music and other entertainment, cooking demonstrations and wellness activities are available.

The market is operated by BeMoneySmartUSA, a Sacramento nonprofit that provides financial, business and career education for youth who in turn have opportunities to use their new skills as farmers market employees. The young workers help vendors and support overall market operations.
