It’s a work in progress…that is, our work with you, our School of Medicine alumni, to build a strong alumni community and a program that offers myriad opportunities for you to engage with and feel pride in your medical alma mater.

Our School of Medicine Alumni Weekend 2017 in October was a great example of what we can do together to make for a terrific “back to campus” experience. On the following pages, you’ll find just a few examples of the fun, positive, thoughtful and enthusiastic vibes that our attendees helped to create. (You know who you are!)

Our goals were to help alums reconnect, reminisce, laugh, learn and teach. Based on the feedback we received, it is safe to say we accomplished those things. So we are wasting no time in letting you know that our Alumni Weekend 2018 will be held Friday and Saturday, Oct. 19–20.

Note that it is a milestone reunion year for the M.D. classes of 1973, 1978, 1983, 1988, 1993, 1998, 2003 and 2008. If you’re a member of a reunion class and willing to partner with our Alumni Office to ensure an exceptional celebration, we hope you’ll kindly get in touch with us ASAP.

And in case you need extra incentive to join us, we’ll also be celebrating a major milestone in the history of the school — 50 years since our first students began their medical studies at UC Davis in the fall of 1968.
