Redding

Clerkships at the Mercy Redding Family Practice Residency Program are offered to 4th year medical students (or third year students who have completed their core in-patient rotations in OB, Pediatrics, Medicine and Surgery), who are currently enrolled in a school approved by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education, or the American Osteopathic Association.
The clerkships are generally arranged in four-week blocks, beginning on a Monday and ending on a Friday (unless falling on a holiday). Clerkships are not offered in July. Early application is encouraged as the program can accommodate only a limited number of students. Most clerkship’s involve two weeks of Family Practice Clinic and two weeks of inpatient care. Reservations are made after completion of the application form and approved from the Residency Program.
We must have an Affiliation Agreement with your medical school for students to rotate with us. Please email me the contact information for the administrator of your school who handles the agreements.
