The program at UC Davis is an accredited comprehensive center by the Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Accreditation and Quality Improvement Program (MBSAQIP) of the American Society for Metabolic & Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS) and American College of Surgeons (ACS). Today’s procedures are amongst some of the most advanced and successful treatments performed with small incisions using minimally invasive surgical techniques (laparoscopic and robotic surgery).
