The UC Davis Dermatopathology Service is a specialized diagnostic and consultative laboratory, accredited by the College of American Pathologists and dedicated to the expert interpretation of skin biopsy specimens and related diagnostic tests.
Our team of skilled experts provides high-quality, timely evaluations that support clinicians in delivering exceptional patient care.
Education and Research Activities
Submitted cases play a vital role in education and discovery. They enrich our teaching and research archives and help train the next generation of clinicians, including medical students, resident physicians and fellows in the dermatology and pathology departments at UC Davis Health, as well as visiting scholars from around the world. This robust learning environment strengthens our commitment to advancing dermatopathology locally and globally.
Our faculty are recognized as education leaders and have received numerous teaching awards from both the dermatology and pathology departments at UC Davis Health.
