Ann has been singing since the young age of 3 and singing professionally for the last 26 years. The past 18 years have also been spent in music ministry. After watching the documentary “Alive Inside,” Ann’s life and mission drastically changed. She knew she wanted to use her gift of song to help soothe and comfort those who need it the most. Ann received her certification as a Certified Music Practitioner in June of 2018 and joined the UC Davis Palliative Care Team in April of 2019. She provides therapeutic music at the bedside for adult medicine patients and families at the hospital.
Joined UC Davis Health: April 2019
Working as a CMP has been the most extraordinary experience. I am supporting others with a language that speaks to everyone. No one is left out from this Universal language, and often music can soothe in a way nothing else can. It is an honor and privilege to support UC Davis patients, family and staff in this way.
Hobbies include singing! I love to sing, even when I’m not singing and playing at the bedside, you can find me singing around town with my band 4 Thought or at my church.
