A breast lift, or mastopexy, is a surgical procedure designed to raise and reshape sagging breasts. Breast lift can also reduce the size of the areola (the darker skin surrounding the nipple). The operation reshapes the breast and creates or restores a more youthful appearance. In some patients, we combine lift with augmentation to increase breast size and enhance shape. Breast implants placed simultaneously with a mastopexy procedure can increase both firmness and size.
