Continuing Medical Education

The Department of Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine is committed to providing physicians and healthcare professionals' educational opportunities that foster excellence in patient care.

Each year our faculty presents an Annual Anesthesiology Update that is generally approved for 20.5 credits. Each program includes a refresher course, general sessions, ultrasound workshops and problem-based learning discussions.

Our meetings are thoroughly planned by a select committee with the goal of producing an educational program that delivers valuable information that participants can immediately utilize in their medical practice. Leading experts in the fields of anesthesia and pain medicine are invited to present at the conference.
