When I think about kindness and trust, it all starts with the heart. Be true to yourself and love those around you by being kind and trusting. Your heart will be full of love and happiness. Being a part of the heart center, it is important to showcase our kindness with this heart painting.—Aliyah Luna-Araya

The first photo made me think of the theme of kindness, trust, and inclusion because the photo represents a brief glimpse in time of part of a trip, I went on with Dr. Jann Murray Garcia around the Central Valley where we learned about the different parts of the region and how each area plays a role in contributing to California. All the folks on the trip were either community members, future healthcare providers, or currently healthcare providers and having this knowledge of the region plays a big role in how you can provide holistic and compassionate care with kindness, trust and inclusivity.
